In the near future, we plan to organize events that engage our community & extend our impact globally. While we're currently in our early stages & don't have any events planned for this year, we're excited about the opportunities ahead to make a meaningful impact.
Community food fair
This event will involve distributing essential food items to local families in need. Supporters can attend to help pack and distribute supplies. The event is planned for a weekend in the summer, with the location and time to be announced. Participation is free, and it serves as a significant outreach effort that directly supports our mission to alleviate food insecurity in underserved communities.
Education workshop series
This series of workshops will focus on providing valuable skills and knowledge to students and community members. Scheduled quarterly throughout the year, the workshops will take place in various community centers. Tickets are moderately priced, and proceeds go towards funding scholarships and educational resources for local students.
bACK-TO-SCHOOL DRIVE
In preparation for the new school year, this event will provide school supplies and educational resources to students in need. Held in late summer at various locations, the event will offer free supplies to students. Volunteers and donors will support our goal of empowering students for success.
Health & Wellness fair
This fair will provide resources and services for the community's health and well-being, featuring local health professionals. The event will be held in the Spring at a central community center. Admission is free, and the fair will highlight our commitment to improving quality of life and overall community wellness. The highlight of the event will be the distribution of feminine hygiene products and other essential items to women in need.
Neighborhood cleanup
This event involves organizing volunteers to clean up a local neighborhood or community center. It will be planned for a weekend day. Volunteers will work together to pick up litter and improve local parks or community spaces. The event is free for participants & serves as a chance to connect with the community.
cOMMUNITY SKILL-BUILDING WORKSHOP
This event will offer free training and educational workshops to members of the community on topics such as basic computer skills, financial literacy, & vocational training. The event will be conducted by volunteer local experts. By equipping individuals with practical skills, the workshop will empower them to pursue new opportunities and enhance their overall quality of life, while also aligning with our organization's focus on education & community support.
