Our History
My desire to create a foundation focused on helping others with their education stems from a profound experience in my life: my mother's story.
I spent my childhood in Nigeria, raised by my mother who worked tirelessly as a small business owner to provide for our family of five. As a single parent, I witnessed her struggle firsthand and often dreamed of ways to ease her burdens and support families facing similar challenges.
My mother's own aspiration for education were cut short. Despite her own dreams of learning, she was denied the opportunity to attend school due to societal norms that devalued women's education. While her brothers received educational support from my grandfather, she was left without access.
Driven by my mother's experiences, I pursued my education with determination, aiming to fulfil her unfulfilled dreams and break the cycle of inequality. Education became more than a personal pursuit; it became a symbol of empowerment and resilience.
This experience laid the foundation for my mission to be a beacon of hope for those yearning for a brighter future but facing financial barriers. Through our work, we strive to provide support and empower individuals to pursue their dreams and create a positive impact in their lives.
